The Story of Oernoe: From House Project to Expanding Services
In the beginning, there was a young visionary named Angel Mejia Rodriguez who started something extraordinary from the comfort of his home. With a passion for technology and innovation, Angel decided to create a website and called it Oernoe. His first step toward realizing his dream was securing the domain “oernoe.com,” and with that, Oernoe was officially born as an email service company.
Just two days after launching the website, Angel brought in a close friend to work alongside him, sharing the excitement and responsibilities of building something unique. Together, they pushed forward, and only 22 days later, Angel introduced Oernoe Search, a search engine designed to provide users with information sourced both from individuals and Google itself.
As the weeks rolled on, Oernoe expanded its offerings, launching two new services: Oernoe Movies and Oernoe Music. These platforms aimed to provide users with a vast array of entertainment options, from films to music tracks. Not stopping there, just two weeks later, Oernoe Developer was created—a platform where developers could share their projects and ideas with a broader audience.
April 2023 marked another significant milestone for Oernoe with the creation of Oernoe News, a service dedicated to delivering the latest news to users. By May 14, 2023, Oernoe had already attracted 24 users, and the growth didn’t stop there.
Between June 5 and July 18, 2023, Oernoe introduced two more services: PalStore, a platform for sharing apps and software, and Oernoe Podcasts, which provided a space for podcasters to share their content with the world. By July 5, 2023, Oernoe’s user base had grown to 35.
The momentum continued into 2024, with the launch of three new services between March and April: Oernoe Chat, Oernoe Drive, and Oernoe Social, each designed to enhance communication, file storage, and social interaction among users. By August 2024, Oernoe expanded its offerings further with the introduction of Oernoe Elections, a platform for managing and participating in elections, and Oernoe Wiki, a collaborative knowledge-sharing site.
On August 29, 2024, Oernoe celebrated reaching 73 users, marking a significant achievement in the company’s journey. What started as a simple project in Angel’s house had grown into a multifaceted tech company with a wide range of services, continuously evolving and expanding its impact.
